Every financial calculation on Calcu.my runs entirely in your browser. We never see the numbers you enter. Nothing is sent to any server. Nothing is stored in a database. Nothing is shared with third parties. Your financial data stays on your device — full stop.
Every calculator on Calcu.my is built with plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that runs locally in your web browser. When you drag a slider or change a value, your browser does the math on your device. No data is transmitted over the internet to perform the calculation.
The "save inputs" feature on some calculators uses your browser's localStorage — storage that lives entirely on your device, in your browser, under your control. This data never leaves your machine. Clearing your browser data removes it.
We collect standard web server logs, which include IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This is the same information any website collects just by serving pages. We use this data only to understand aggregate traffic — never to identify or profile individual users.
We use Google Analytics to understand which tools are most popular and how people navigate the site. Google Analytics collects anonymized, aggregated data about site usage. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Calcu.my is supported by display advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve ads. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing history and other signals — this is standard behavior for ad-supported websites and is governed by Google's privacy policy.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com. You can also install an ad blocker if you prefer not to see ads — we'd rather have you use the tools than not use them.
We use cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense). We do not use cookies to track your financial inputs or to build a profile of your financial situation. If you have a browser extension that blocks cookies, the calculators will still work perfectly — cookies are not required for any calculator functionality.
If you use the contact form on the Ask a CFO page, we collect the information you provide (name, email, message) in order to respond to you. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with any third party or used for marketing without your explicit consent.
Calcu.my is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We will not change the core commitment: your financial calculator inputs stay on your device and are never sent to any server.
